New Brunswick is home to excellent upland game hunting. Ruffed Grouse, Woodcock & Varying Hare are abundant throughout the province and make for an excellent way to spend a gorgeous autumn day. Nothing is as exciting as a wildly flushing grouse or the erratic flight of a woodcock. Here at Kelly's, we offer the best of both worlds and only minutes from the lodge. Whether your hunting an old fence line along an abandoned orchard or walking an old woods road on a frosty morning, the experience will be one to remember.

The upland season runs from October 1st until November 30th. Woodcock hunters using a dog may begin on September 15th. Hunters wishing to use dogs must bring their own as Kelly's does not supply them. a Federal Migratory Game Bird license is required in addition to a regular hunting license for Woodcock. Solid Hunter orange vests and hats must be worn.
