Mild winters and ideal feed conditions have strengthened New Brunswick's deer population and the numbers have rebounded tremendously. New Brunswick is known for it's quality White-tail bucks and experts agree that the next world record could easily come out of New Brunswick.

New Brunswick deer are well known for their heavy body mass where 250lbs is not uncommon and 300 + lbs is not unheard of. There are also known for antler mass with several scoring in the top 10 Boone & Crocket in the last decade. We offer both firearms and bow hunting for white-tails.

We are not going to lie and tell you there is a deer behind every tree, there isn't. You also won't see the number of deer that you would on a hunting ranch. However, if you value quality over quantity, and want a chance at taking a Record Book Buck at Kelly's Sporting Lodge, contact us for information about our deer hunts.

The buck above, taken at Kelly's Sporting Lodge in 1999 by Bill McIntyre of Reading, Pennsylvania. It is the New Brunswick Record White-tail Buck and was shot less than 1 mile from the lodge. Known as the "Could Have Been Buck", a few less deductions and it would have been the World Record

White-tail.
